Dr. Hoover became interested in dentistry while working as a dental lab technician in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1975. While in the Air Force, he attended the University of Maryland in Europe and subsequently graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1979. He then graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Hoover spent three years teaching Clinical Dentistry at the University of Illinois part-time while establishing his practice.

During his career, Dr. Hoover has received many awards for technical and clinical excellence. He particularly enjoys work that challenges his nearly 30 years of technical background such as crowns, bridges, dentures and implants.

Dr. Hoover is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry and The Schaumburg Area Dental Study Club. He and his wife are active community members with three children.


 

Dr. Waryjas is a native Chicagoan who received his Baccalaureate degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Illinois and his Master of Science degree and certificate in the specialty of Orthodontics from the Graduate College of the University of Illinois.

He serves on the boards of several professional and service organizations in the area. Dr. Waryjas has lectured at many professional meetings, including service as a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics.

Dr. Waryjas' philosophy of practice revolves around fitting the plan of treatment to the needs of the individual patient and their lifestyle as much as possible. This caring philosophy extends itself to his personal commitment of service to charitable groups and coaching various youth sports teams. He and his wife, Maryann, have a daughter and a son.


 

Dr. Balthazar graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1979. Her post-doctoral specialty training in pediatrics and adolescent dental care was completed at Loyola University, where she graduated in 1981. During this time, she also completed a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.

Dr. Balthazar has been on faculty at both Northwestern and Loyola. In 1984, the American Dental Association recognized her with a National Preventive Dental Care Award. In 1987, the Northern Illinois Women's Dentistry Group recognized her for her service in dentistry.

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Balthazar is uniquely qualified to assess a child's changing dental needs and protect their dental future. And there is one more credential that Dr. Balthazar believes has been integral to her success with her patients—she is a single mother raising a teenage daughter.


 


Maria received her Associate Degree in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan in 1978. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and keeps current with her dentistry by earning annual continuing education credits through them. She is also involved with volunteer work sponsored by the Association.

Maria joined the Hoover practice in 1987.She enjoys the rapport she has established with her patients and with co-workers and continues to look forward to the daily challenges and exciting changes occurring in the field of dentistry. Maria and her husband, Michael, have two daughters.


 


Bonnie received her Associate Degree in Science and Applied Science-Dental Hygiene from Harper College in 1987. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and has held several offices at the local level and served on several statewide committees.

Locally, she volunteers to speak to preschoolers at area schools and day care centers during Children's Dental Health Month. Bonnie is married to Bill and has two children.
