Meet Dr. Thomas Hoover, D.D.S.
Dr. Thomas Hoover was born in Woodstock and raised in North Aurora, Illinois, He served as a dental lab technician and dental assistant in the US Air force and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal while serving at Scott Air Force Base, Dr. Hoover graduated with an Associate Degree from the University of Maryland in Europe, a Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. Dr. Hoover was awarded the Stanley B, Tillman award for clinical excellence by the University in addition to being an honor student at all three schools he attended.
Dr. Hoover has been providing dental services to the Northwest Suburban area for over 25 years. He is a member of the Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce and is a founding member of the Northwest Business Network. He served as an instructor of dentistry at the University of Illinois and has also taught courses in starting an investment club at Harper College and for the Hoffman Estates Park District. Over the years he has served on numerous community boards.
The many years of experience as an assistant in emergency services and as a dental lab technician provides the foundation of Dr. Hoover's practice. He enjoys restoring smiles to people who have lost confidence in their smile. "Our soft tissue management program has given many patients the ability to keep teeth that would have been lost decades ago."

Married with three children, he enjoys fishing, loves travel, walking with his dogs and most recently, learning to golf.
Meet Dr. Walter S. Hofman, D.D.S.
Dr. Walter Hofman is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and shortly thereafter served two years in Nurnberg, Germany as a dentist. Dr. Hofman comes from a family of dentists and medical doctors, with his father having practiced dentistry in Chicago’s Hyde Park. He specializes in general family dentistry as well as cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Hofman spent his career practicing dentistry in Streamwood and Hoffman Estates, IL. He started emergency room calls at Elgin’s Sherman Hospital and now covers emergency room services at St. Alexius every five weeks. He worked as a professor at Marquette University for three years, teaching the crown and bridge program.
He joined our office in 2002, starting as an independent contractor. He has been married for 48 years and has two daughters and two grandsons, with whom he enjoys spending time with.
Meet Dr. Loren D. Goldstein, D.D.S.
Dr. Loren Goldstein is a 1982 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, now known as UIC College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he worked briefly as an associate of another dentist then started his own private practice in Glencoe shortly thereafter.
Over his years of practice, he has held many committee positions and chairmanships for the Chicago Dental Society. He has also volunteered time to serve as an attending physician in the GPR program at Evanston Hospital.
Dr. Goldstein has maintained a high quality cosmetic and reconstructive practice for nearly two decades when he retired from practice in 2001. He has since returned to private practice and practiced dentistry in the faculty dental practice within the College of Dentistry where he is a clinical assistant professor. He joined our office in June 2010.
Dr. Goldstein has a grown son and daughter and enjoys photography, outdoor activities, and live music.
Meet Dr. Ronald Waryjas, D.D.S.
Dr. Ronald Waryjas is a native Chicagoan who received his Baccalaureate degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Illinois and his Master of Science degree and certificate in the specialty of Orthodontics from the Graduate College of the University of Illinois.
He serves on the boards of several professional and service organizations in the area. Dr. Waryjas has lectured at many professional meetings, including service as a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Waryjas' philosophy of practice revolves around fitting the plan of treatment to the needs of the individual patient and their lifestyle as much as possible. This caring philosophy extends itself to his personal commitment of service to charitable groups and coaching various youth sports teams. He and his wife, Maryann, have a daughter and a son.
Meet Aminta Reyes, R.D.H.
Aminta received her Associate Degree in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene from Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and keeps current in dentistry by earning continuing education credits. Aminta has advanced training in dental anesthesia and non-surgical periodontal treatments.
Our practice welcomed Aminta in 2005. Her outside interests include traveling, reading and running. She is currently training for her first marathon run.
Meet Loralee DeFrancisco, R.D.H.
Loralee received her Associate Degree in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene from Harper College. She has worked in the dental field for over 30 years and continues to enjoy the ever-changing field of dentistry. Loralee attends many local continuing education classes as well as the annual Chicago Dental Convention every February.
